Cucumber Wheat flour dosa

This is a recipe I got from one of my colleagues and is a perfect fit in the simple-tasty category.Just get the batter ready and make the dosas: all in a jiffy; no standing time. Try and enjoy.


Wheat flour – 3 cups
Cucumber(grated) – 1 whole medium-sized
Onion(finely chopped) – 1 medium
Green chillies(finely chopped) – 4
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Til(white) – 1/2 tsp
Haldi – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste


Mix all the ingredients with water as required into a consistency suitable for making dosas. Take a tawa, heat it and spread the batter to make delicious dosas. Healthy and nutritious wheat dosas ready. Njoy!





  1. This is AB’s fav dish from his mother’s kitchen..
    she adds no water, as cucumber leaks, and add a spoon of besan to it… it tastes just as yum just with the cucumber and chillies minus the rest 🙂

    And wheat dosas with tomato-onion chutney and sambar is our staple breakfast/lunch/dinner we both love it to bits………..
