“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
Thanks for all the wishes on the previous post. Am much better today, though my tongue fails to relish anything as yet 🙂 I was all set to continue the series of travel tales, but heading out with the sister to run some errands led us to the ‘Weaves of India’ exhibition, giving me fodder for today’s post. You already know my love for handlooms (anything handmade in general), so how could I not share pics from today’s sojourn here 😀 Though am in a self-imposed minimalist mode this year, I enjoyed the visual spectacle the fair offered.
Such a pretty Jamdani saree! Almost succeeded in tempting me into buying it 😛
These cut-work sarees were amazingly beautiful! Sigh!
The Kantha work blouse-pieces. The only things I ended up buying 🙂
These two men from Khajuraho had such intricate designs in brass. So so beautiful!
Loved the Krishna-Radha. Brass and semi-precious blue and red stones. Imagine this one adorning your home – precious indeed 🙂
And this Krishna-Radha made of Panchadhatu is something I am definitely buying someday. Look at those expressions; Radha Rani totally immersed in the melody 🙂
That’s it for today people 🙂 Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too 😀
