Theme for this week:
Given the number of beaches we visited last year, beautiful can be synonymous with them and them alone :D. Please pardon me if I say the some for rivers or temples or lush green fields in the upcoming posts though 😉 All is fair in love and
war blog, especially when you have to post 30 times in a row! Phew!
We visited beaches in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka, but given the number of pics we have, will only stick to the Tamil Nadu ones for this post 😀

The Pamban Bridge, an engineering marvel – a cantilever that connects Rameswaram on the Pamban island with mainland India. Also happens to be India’s first sea bridge and was the longest until the Worli sea link was thrown open.
View from across the Pamban
Dhanushkodi (literally meaning ‘end of the bow‘) – It was here that Sri Rama and his army supposedly built a bridge using floating stones, to reach Lanka. Legend has it that Vibhishana, who was crowned the kind of Lanka after the war, asked Sri Rama to destroy the bridge on their return. did so using one end of his bow, thus giving the place its name.
Sunset point, Kanyakumari – How could I end the post without these?:D
On that note, have a beautiful day all of you. 9 posts done, 21 more to go! :O
