This one was shot at the Leh – Museum of Ladakhi Culture and Military Heritage during out visit to Leh and Kargil in 2011.

It reads:

Capt. Vijyant Thapar, 22, died trying to evict Pakistani intruders from a ridge in Kargil on 28th June 1999. This is the letter he wrote to his parents days before he made the ultimate sacrifice.

It was the brave-heart’s last letter he had left for his parents, in case he never returned.  Am always amazed by the valour and ofcourse the patriotism that these young men are full of! Hats off and God bless them!
