• COOOOOOLD! Brrrrrrr!
  • still a very green city, irrespective of people telling me every time that a lot of trees have been felled down. Live elsewhere my dearies and you will know 😐
  • where you get to fall in love with Maa-Paa’s new home and add your bit to the decor too πŸ™‚ I was in half mind about liking the new place after having lived in the old locality till I got married and moved out, but this place is good too πŸ˜€

  • where you learn new lessons from Maa-Paa even after all these years. It’s only now that I am realizing how Daddy and Amma say ‘Ashok must be here, it must be Manju‘ and so on instead of ‘It’s the carpenter, the maid‘ etc.. May be because I am literally running out each time to see who it is πŸ˜›
  • where you get time to delve into the archives and see photos like these which bring an instant smile on your face πŸ™‚

  • where you get to savour the *fruits* of the in-laws’ efforts/ garden πŸ˜€

  • and get to savour (!?!) the FIL’s experiments in the kitchen πŸ˜›

  • where you get to rofl on hearing the same old jokes about the FIL again and again including the one where he said sorry to a mannequin for having pushed her over πŸ˜†
  • where you meet your soul-sister of a blog friend whom you have been dying to meet for 3 years now and realize how much more similar you both are and have much more to talk even after yapping away to glory for 6.5 hours non-stop. Did you record that we met on a very special date Smithu – 20122012 πŸ˜‰ Smiths also baked cinnamon bread for me andΒ parcelledΒ some home too πŸ™‚
  • where you bump into a blogger friend at a signal and to top it, get to know that she is heading to the same store that you are on your way to and to top Β even that, get to know that another blog friend is visiting the store too! Shruti and Monu, wasn’t that like the Maa-Baap of all coincidences 8)
  • also where sweet bloggers like Bindu who are busy baking and packing up for a week long vacation offer to drop in anywhere just to meet you, even if it is only for half an hour πŸ™‚ Β I so wish we had more time Bindu and both the orange and chocolate cake you baked specially for us taste delicious πŸ˜‰

That has been my Bengaluru trip so far in a nut shell! Not bad for 6 days eh? πŸ˜‰ Β How are you all doing people? And what plans for the festive season? I do hope I get to meet more such lovely folks and that the knee permits the same too πŸ˜€ Β Stay happy my dearies and enjoy the season! I can’t wait for 2013 to be here πŸ˜€
