There’s an end to everything in life! Change is the only permanent thing and everybody needs one 💡
Its time to bid good-bye. Time to sing ‘The Final Song‘ of this virtual journey 🙂
Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.
N here’s my last post ……..
Last Post on Munnar 👿 ‘Good-bye Munnar ‘ 8)
The village folks I hd met and celebrated I-day with the previous day wanted to meet my Veetkaran [read Pati 8)] and so ws it on this side too! Our saarathi who drove us down from Cochin and ws supposed to drop us back to Cochin to board our flight warned us against going out for a walk the next morning as he had learnt a lesson from my experience the previous day when I hd taken all the time in the world to get bk and start the sight-seeing. But ‘We‘ being ‘We‘ [Marriages r really made in heaven I tell ya! Hw else cn one expect two crazy ppl to be united for life!] got up and left for a walk @ abt 5:30 a.m. We reached the same village in some time and one person whom I hd caught up with the previous day recognizsed me and invited us home for a cup of chai! Drool……… Chai rt in Chai heaven Munnar @ a place surrounded by Chai estates on all sides and home to one who works in the Chai estate 😛 I cud almost feel the chai pathhi being harvested, ground and chai being made 🙄 and ofcourse made with so much warmth! N believe me, it ws awesome! They also served us some snacks which we hogged @ arnd 6:45 in the morning. By this time, so many kids came there asking for pics to be taken. One person even woke his son up telling him that ‘Photo aunty’ is here to take photos 😛 The boy came out rubbing his eyes 😉
After adding petrol to the tummy tank, we set out on a journey towards some private tea estates which the wonderful village people offered to show us and they sent one boy to escort us 🙂 N believe me, this ws the thing I liked best in Munnar! It ws like a velvet cover thrown over the mountains! Seeing is believing isn’t it? Have a look 😯
With a heavy heart,we returned back as we hd to head bk to Kochi immediately to return to pavilion!
We were treated with some gr8 picturesque beauty on the way bk!
We visited a Spice Garden on the way and it ws a nice experience to see the spices which are a part of our daily food, some medicinal plants and a variety of fruits and flowers with their Mother, on the plant they come from 🙂
Lemon grass oil works wonders for any muscular pain/sprain etc.. Almost a miracle!
N now for the last pic of this virtual tour – flowers flowers everywhere 🙂 Hope u all had a wonderful journey 🙂
