Fusilli – 1 cup
On cooking, this yields 1.5 cup.
Spinach – 1 cup [blanched and finely chopped]
Onions – 1/4 cup [chopped lengthwise into 1/2 inch pieces]
Milk – 1/2 cup
Cream – 1/2 cup
Cheese[grated] – 4 tbsp
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Take ample water in a large vessel, add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tbsp of oil and allow to boil. Now add the fusilli slowly and cook by stirring continuously. Fusilli takes about 12-15 min to be cooked well. Strain the water, toss with little oil and keep aside.
Heat the olive oil in a wok, add the onion and saute till they turn transclucent. Add the spinach, cream, milk, cheese, salt and pepper powder and cook on low flame for about 5 mins. Now, switch off the flame and keep aside. Toss the cooked fusilli gently and serve hot.
